International Trade Fair for Commercial Fruit Growing, Distillation and Agricultural Technology to be held January 13 to 15, 2023 – Extensive lecture program and Distillery Day planned.
Friedrichshafen/Germany – Fruchtwelt Bodensee will offer an informative platform for representatives of Europe’s fruit growing, agricultural, and distilling industries from January 13 to 15, 2023. This represents an interruption of the usual two-year cycle of the event: “Due to the pandemic, it was only possible to host the fair digitally this year. However, the industry’s need for information is currently very high and many results from the area of applied research urgently need to be presented to a larger audience. We and our partners would like to offer a platform for in-person exchange of information already in 2023,” Project Manager Petra Rathgeber explains. Fruchtwelt Bodensee will return to its usual two-year cycle in 2024.
The topics of internationality, rising energy costs, climate change, sustainability, and crop protection will be the focus of the Lake Constance Fruit Growing Days, with Distillery Day also on the agenda with a lineup of lectures and seminars. One of the key topics to be examined from various points of view will be the concept of agri-photovoltaics. Aspects such as construction law and economic efficiency will be explored, and initial results from actual installations will be presented. Senior representatives from the policymaking sphere, science, and the field will open Lake Constance Fruit Days on Friday, January 13, 2023, and be available for exchange of ideas.
