Washing / Grinding — Healthy Cleanliness

The fruits and vegetables are emptied into the washing container and throroughly cleaned. A food-safe plastic conveyor belt transports them upwards, where they are cleaned with water from spray nozzles and transferred to the fruit grinder.

WASHING & GRINDING UNIT SERIES KWEM

In the washing basin the fruit undergoes an intensive cleaning. Afterwards it is transferred upwards and is washed again with water spray nozzles. Then it is crushed with the directly attached grinder and is forwarded into the dosing hopper of the belt press.

The prepared mash is transferred via the washing/grinding machine into the dosing box and spread on the bottom sieve belt. In the so-called pre-filter zone the pressure increases and provides a gentle de-juicing.
